MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho has said Sergio Aguero was “very clever and very experienced” in the incident that saw Marouane Fellaini sent off in the Manchester derby.
With the sides locked at 0-0, which is how it finished, Fellaini completely lost his head, first being booked and then being given a straight red after headbutting Manchester City striker Aguero.
It took around a minute for the Belgian to leave the pitch, but not before he confronted the referee, Aguero and even his own players after being given his marching orders.
Yet despite it being a clear red, Mourinho believes there were other factors that perhaps played a part in his dismissal.

Speaking after the game, the Portuguese boss said: “I didn’t watch the Fellaini incident on TV but I spoke with Fellaini he thinks it was a red card because he is Fellaini.
“I spoke to Martin [Atkinson, referee] – he thinks it was a red card.
“I can guess it’s a bit of a red card and a bit of a very smart, very experienced Argentinian player.”
According to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho added: “I saw Aguero in the tunnel after, no broken nose, no broken head, his face as nice as always.”
United’s bad-tempered Belgian had been booked just NINETEEN SECONDS before clashing with Aguero seven minutes from time.
He sent Aguero sprawling before planting his nut on him — right in front of ref Martin Atkinson. Fellaini then confronted the fourth official as he reluctantly left the pitch.
United legend Gary Neville branded Fellaini a fool, and the midfielder could now face FA action after his antics.
